Container Desiccants

DESCRIPTION

Desiccant is most commonly used to remove excessive humidity that would normally degrade or even destroy products sensitive to moisture.
Uses: Specially formulated desiccant product designed to lower the dew point inside shipping and storage containers. By lowering the dew point, our desiccants protects cargo from moisture damage while goods are in transport.

  • Ship goods without the threat of “Container Rain”
    Inhibits the formation of mold, mildew, rust and corrosion
    Prevents weak cartons and loose labels caused by moisture
    Meets FCC Guidelines for shipment of cocoa beans
  • Moisture absorption of up to – 250% + at 30ºC & 80% RH
  • Absorbs up to 150% at 28ºC & 70% RH
  • Dimethylfurmurate free and complies with EU directive 2009/251/EC
  • These moisture control packets can be disposed of as normal trade waste
